Program Description

The Business Analytics International Stream program prepares graduates to work in the growing and dynamic field of business analytics. Students will learn the techniques and tools of analytical decision making and utilize these skills to drive the competitiveness of an organization. Students will be exposed to generic analytics modeling as well as courses in the areas or marketing, operations, and business strategy. Students will also be introduced to machine learning and artificial intelligence concepts, and, how to use supervised and unsupervised learning techniques to solve real-world problems. Through applied learning techniques such as problem-based learning and work placement students will be able to apply their learning to real-world problems.

Business Analytics experts are currently in high demand, especially with the opportunity to leverage high volume and variety of data, available in today’s digital world, to support business strategy, enhance customer experience, and, solve real-life problems in real-time.

Admission Requirements

  • Minimum Level of Education Required: 2-Year Undergraduate Diploma
  • Min GPA: 50.0%
  • English Proficiency Requirements:For direct admission, applicant must be from an English speaking country or meet either of the following English test scores:
    • Min TOEFL iBT: 83
    • Min IELTS overall: 6.5 (Min Listening: 6.0, Min Reading: 6.0, Min Speaking: 6.0, Min Writing: 6.0)
    • Min Duolingo English Test Score: 115
    • Min PTE overall: 60

    For conditional admission, instead of submitting language proficiency test scores, applicant may complete English courses prior to the academic program. The length of the English course is determined based on the applicant's level of English proficiency.
